Hey There!

Greetings, I’m Hashauna Richardson McKie, I am a  colorblind digital 2D Artist and character designer from Mallorca Spain. 

Since I am enchanted by the fantasy world, I really enjoy drawing fantasy illustrations of fairies, as well as designing characters and concepts. Art has always been a passion of mine since I was a child. Back then I was only using pencil and paper but it wasn't until 2012 that I was introduced to the world of digital art. Since I am colorblind, I was always self-conscious about using color in my illustrations, but with the help of digital art over the years, I have grown more confident and have a better understanding of color even though I still struggle sometimes. 

I have a huge love and passion for animation and storytelling in general. Recently, I volunteered at an indie animation studio designing characters and being the art director for a series called Blink and the Brute. Unfortunately, the studio disbanded, but I learned and improved so much from the experience.I believe that animation is magic, something that can touch the hearts and souls of both children and adults alike, and that’s something that I always desire to be a part of as well as contribute to.

an heal others, which is why if I can make someone's heart brighter with my illustrations, then it's absolutely worth it. As a creative person, I can't imagine living without art, and I hope to continue learning from those who inspire me as well as the world in general.
